Editing & Project Sharing with DaVinci Resolve

October 14 @ 10:00 am - October 15 @ 5:00 pm

Free

Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve has been utilised as a colour grading tool for a while, but how well does it stack up as a professional editing platform? Can it truly replace your current NLE while enhancing your workflow? How do you manage multiple editors using a shared storage solution?

This comprehensive two-day session is designed specifically for editors, offering an in-depth look at Resolve’s powerful editing tools and streamlined workflows. From project setup and timeline management to advanced trimming and timeline effects, you’ll gain hands-on experience with every stage of the editing process. You’ll also explore how Resolve seamlessly integrates colour, audio, and visual effects into your edit, eliminating the need for round-tripping between multiple applications.

This session in particular aims to look into the scripted workflow and situations where you have multiple editors and assistants working on one project and covers project sharing in both cloud and local situations.

Whether you’re considering a switch to Resolve or simply wanting to see what’s under the hood, this session will equip you with the knowledge and techniques needed to begin to understand, and use, this software.
