You’ll run through the processes from beginning to end in the key tasks amen on a daily basis using professional equipment. \nThis course covers:\n\nTwo days training with a professional Edit Assistant who is currently working within the industry\nLearn the fundamental tools and processes in using Media Composer\nTake away the skills to be able to manage data\, keep relevant records\, communicate with the editor\, organise projects\, manage layouts and much more\nBasics of Nexis storage use and administration \n\nThis programme will be delivered by Gorilla Academy and is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions. \nWho’s it for:\nThey training programme is for machine room operators or new entrants into post production who want a guide to skills required to be an edit assistant. It is also useful for current edit assistants who want to reinforce their current skills or assistants moving from an unscripted workflow into a scripted project. \nWhat it covers:\nOn this course you will cover all the essential skills required for an edit assistant in a scripted programme. Med Composer is the go-to suite for the industry along with Nexis storage – a shared storage solution that aids in the seamless sharing of media and projects for multi-editor environments. \nThis course covers:\n\nTwo days training with one of the leading editors in TV across Wales and the UK\nLearn the fundamental tools and processes in using Media Composer\nTake away the skills to be able to ingest\, organise media\, cut\, export files and manage a project using Media Composer in a shared storage environment\nBasics of Nexis storage use and administration \n\nThis programme will be delivered by Gorilla Academy and is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions. \nWho’s it for:\nThey training programme is for editors who are used to using other non-linear editing packages\, new entrants who have not had guided support in the use of Media Composer in a post production facility and editors who have not had experience of using Media Composer in a shared storage environment and want to learn more about collaborating with other editors on a project. \nWhat it covers:\nIn this two day course you will be introduced to Media Composer and Nexis storage and walked through the skills required to edit within a shared working environment.
