DESCRIPTION:Adobe After Effects is a powerful tool that can simplify your work as an online editor. \nThis session will cover some common\, day-to-day tasks encountered in production and demonstrate how After Effects can streamline and enhance these processes when used alongside Media Composer. \nThis is a classroom based\, Hand-on training course. \n			\n				APPLICATIONS CLOSED\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Delivery informationWho is this course forWhat will we coverLearning outcomes\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Classroom basedDate – Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th January 2025Duration – 2 days10am to 5pmIncludes Lunch \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This is an advanced Level session for anyone who is currently working as an Online Editor in the TV & Film industry. \nThis is the Online Editor Up-skill/CPD step of the Stepping Stone training programme into the TV & Film industry. \nAssumed Knowledge – A working knowledge of Editing and what tasks are required to be an Online Editor \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				In the training session we will be looking at the following: \n\nAn introduction to After Effects\, its layout and tools\nCreating and animating text\nSplit Screens / Picture-in-picture\nUsing and understanding Matte Types (Track mattes\, Alpha and Luma and blending modes)\nPaint Outs/Object Removal – Content Aware Fill\nBlurring and mask tracking\nCompositing – Chroma Keying\nRotoscoping / Rotobrush Tool\nThe Render Queue and Delivering back to Media Composer in your required codec/spec\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Once completed you will have a better idea of what After Effects can and can’t do for the online edit and to use what it can do to make your work more efficient and to a higher standard.  \nAs a delegate on the course you will also be notified of any networking events run by ourselves or partners as well as having access to our fortnightly drop in session at Gorilla Academy. \n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This project has received support from the Welsh Government via Creative Wales \nIt is part of a project called Stepping Stones being introduced by Gorilla AcademyThe funding will support entry level and up-skilling training opportunities within post production in Wales with a percentage of the training being delivered through the medium of Welsh \nNB Applicants need to either live or work in Wales currently \n  \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				APPLICATIONS CLOSED
